Flying Squirrel’s A Minecraft Movie Night Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) March 26, 2025 – April 1, 2025 

These Official Rules (the “Rules”) govern participation in the “Flying Squirrel’s A Minecraft Movie Night Giveaway.” By entering, the participants (“Participants”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Rules and any decisions made by the Sponsor regarding the Giveaway, which shall be final and binding in all respects. 

Eligibility 

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, Warner Bros. Entertainment Canada, Inc. (“Warner Bros. Canada”), Legendary, Microsoft Corporation, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate. 

How to Enter 

To enter the Giveaway, Participants must complete all of the following steps during the Giveaway Period: 

1. All Participants must have an Instagram account.
2. Follow the official Instagram accounts of @flyingsquirrelcalgary, @flyingsquirrelchatham, @flyingsquirrelhamilton, @flyingsquirrellondon, @flyingsquirrelottawa, @flyingsquirrelsouthcalgary, @flyingsquirrelwhitby, and  @flyingsquirrelwinnipeg. 
3. Like the official Instagram post promoting the Giveaway on the @flyingsquirrelcalgary, @flyingsquirrelchatham, @flyingsquirrelhamilton, @flyingsquirrellondon, @flyingsquirrelottawa, @flyingsquirrelsouthcalgary, @flyingsquirrelwhitby, and @flyingsquirrelwinnipeg Instagram page. 
   1. Comment on the post, tagging one (1) friend the Participant would take to watch A Minecraft Movie. 

Limit: One (1) entry per Participant. Any attempt to submit multiple entries or violate these Rules will result in disqualification. Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or submitted in violation of these Rules will be void. 

Giveaway Period 

The Giveaway begins on March 17, 2025, at 12:00:00 a.m. EST and ends on April 1, 2025, at 11:59:59 p.m. EST (the “Giveaway Period”). The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Giveaway at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to fraud, technical failures, or other factors beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control that affect the administration or integrity of the Giveaway. 

Prizes 

Eight (8) winners will each receive the following prize package (the “Prize”): 

1.  Four (4) family digital movie passes to watch A  Minecraft Movie in Cineplex theatres. The approximate retail value  of each Prize of  is $72 CAD. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, or substituted for cash or other items, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated Prize is unavailable for any reason. 

The promocode offer is available for redemption online only, towards theatrical tickets for the performance of A Minecraft Movie only, including but not limited to 3D, UltraAVX®, D-BOX, Prime Seats and VIP admission (legal drinking age only), up to $72.00 (“Value”). If the purchase price of the tickets including taxes is more than the Value, the difference is the purchaser’s responsibility. If the cost of tickets, including taxes, are less than the Value, the balance will not be carried over to another transaction. Scene+TM points are not issued on free admission tickets. Tickets for particular theatres/movies are subject to availability. Offer expires June 1, 2025, and may be revoked, terminated, canceled, or modified at any time without notice. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion, coupon or discount, and is not valid on past purchases, transferable to any other film, redeemable for cash or credit, or valid for re-sale. Limit of one (1) offer per transaction. ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY. NO SUBSTITUTIONS. 

Winner Selection and Notification 

1. The winners will be selected via a random draw conducted by the Sponsor on or about April 1, 2025. The winners will be announced on the Sponsor’s Instagram account (@flyingsquirrelcalgary, @flyingsquirrelchatham, @flyingsquirrelhamilton, @flyingsquirrellondon, @flyingsquirrelottawa, @flyingsquirrelsouthcalgary, @flyingsquirrelwhitby, and @flyingsquirrelwinnipeg.) and contacted via Instagram Direct Message. 

Winners will be required to complete a skills test in order to receive the Prize. The Sponsor shall facilitate the skills test. If a participant fails the skills test, a new winner will be chosen. 

Winners must respond to the notification within forty-eight (48) hours of being contacted. Failure to respond within the specified timeframe may result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected. 

Prize Delivery 

The digital movie passes will be sent to the winners via email or direct message. Winners may be required to provide an email address to receive their Prize. 

Publicity and Intellectual Property 

By accepting the Prize, the winners consent to the use of their name, city of residence, Instagram handle, photograph, and any statements they make about the Giveaway or Prize for promotional purposes by the Sponsor and Warner Bros. Canada, in any media, without further compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law. 

Privacy 

By entering the Giveaway, Participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information (e.g., Instagram handle, name, and email address) by the Sponsor for the administration of the Giveaway in accordance with applicable privacy laws. The Sponsor will not sell or share Participants’ personal information with any third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the Giveaway. 

Release and Limitation of Liability 

By entering the Giveaway, Participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Warner Bros. Canada, Legendary, Microsoft Corporation, Instagram, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of or related to participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize. 

The Released Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical malfunctions, or unauthorized human intervention in the entry process. 

 

General Conditions 

1. Participation constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Rules. 
2. All decisions by the Sponsor regarding the Giveaway are final and binding. 
3. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, which is hereby released from all liability. 
4. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. 

Warner Bros. Canada, Legendary, and Microsoft Corporation and each of their respective parent, affiliates and subsidiaries are not responsible for the promotion, administration or execution of this Giveaway.
